View this email in your browser A Traditional Look in Leawood Our relationship with this young family started in 2012 when they designed their original home. Since it was brand new construction, we were able to help with the creation of this design from day one. Our design team worked with this family to create landscaping that fit the outdoor oasis, our construction team was ready to bring the original vision to life.  The brick front porch leads to the circle driveway, which is optimal for a growing family. The new design incorporated this look around the back of the house, with the brick ribbon around both the pool deck and steps down from the lanai. In the original landscaping, we had planted a wall of evergreen trees along the fence for privacy. It was nice to have this tree fence, along with 8 years of growth, when we went to design the pool. We painted the custom-built pergola white to match the trim of the house. Under the pergola is a custom outdoor kitchen with a Fire Magic grill, refrigerator, stainless drawers, and an outdoor TV. There are Pennsylvania bluestone countertops that match the pool & spa coping, with a dover grey veneer. How great to watch TV while you are grilling or relaxing in the water! Make Outdoor Living Part Of Everyday Life The spa holds 8 people comfortably and has custom bluestone steps for entry. It has glass mosaic tile, which enhances the water overflow of the spa into the pool. The coping stone around the pool was also created with Pennsylvania Blue Stone to carry the vision throughout the backyard. The pool has bench seating for guests to be able to relax in the water without fully submerging (sometimes you just don't want to get your hair wet)! We removed the play area with the trampoline and designed a fire pit that is 6 stone steps away from the spa. The fire pit has a custom-built gas starter wood-burning pit. What a perfect spot to enjoy the cooler weather and maybe s'mores! Our floral designer worked her magic on their pots, which have drip irrigation. No need to water! We installed an FX Luminaire system to highlight the entire outdoor oasis that is controllable from any smart device, so you are in complete control of your atmosphere and ambiance.
